To help users bus dishes, deliver room service, and transport catering equipment, the Cambro BC340KDLP480 utility cart features three durable, stain-resistant polypropylene shelves spaced 11 3⁄4 inches apart. Each shelf accommodates a full-size dish rack or two standard-size bus boxes, while raised marine rails built along the shelves' perimeters secure stored racks and boxes in place during transport. As much as 400 pounds can be stored on the cart, as its open design enables operators to access stored contents directly. For smooth transportation, this 40-inch-wide by 21 1⁄4-inch-deep by 37 1⁄2-inch-high structure is mounted on four 5-inch non-marking swivel casters. Operators can push the unit using its two ergonomic handles, which are made with Camguard® antimicrobial protection to slow bacterial growth between cleanings.
